The Historic Argo Hotel is a beautifully restored hotel, built in 1912. It is located in Crofton, Nebraska - near Lewis and Clark Lake on the Missouri River, along Scenic Highway 12, aka- Outlaw Trail.
Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, the property covers approximately 1/4th of a city block.
The hotel includes 5 suites and a total of 11 guest rooms, two of which have balcony access.
Free wi-fi internet throughout the hotel.
The hotel dining room seats approximately 60 and is open on Friday and Saturday evenings by reservation only.
Hotel guests are invited to a cocktail hour from 5-6 p.m.
Early check-outs can enjoy a continental breakfast of wholesome, homemade goodies beginning at 6 a.m., and a freshly made hot breakfast is served to guests from 9-10 a.m.
The main floor includes the dining room, bar, front parlor and office. All guest rooms are on the upper floor.
The garden level includes the Speakeasy Lounge where guests can enjoy after-dinner drinks in a cozy atmosphere where Big Band and Depression-era melodies play from the jukebox, or turn-of-the century tunes jangle from an antique player piano. Complete with a full bar and 2 fireplaces, the Speakeasy provides a wonderful setting for private parties, or guests seeking a more intimate atmosphere.
